Account Manager – High End Fabrics and Wallcoverings

Fantastic opportunity for a Account Manager to join a leading interior design fabric business in Chelsea. The company supply high-end fabrics to retailers, furniture manufacturers, luxury yacht designers and interior designers. They are looking for an experienced Account Manager to look after a portfolio of important client accounts.

Applicants will need a full driving UK driving licence as you will be required to visit clients at their studios and offices on a daily basis. A car is provided by the company.

You will be meeting with clients to explore their interior design project requirements and you will then be dealing with their orders. Commission is paid on all sales within your client portfolio which will generate approximately £10,000 on top of the basic at a 1% commission rate.

Applicants should be enthusiastic to work with some of the best interior fabric brands and have a sensitive eye for colour, design and texture. Experience of selling a luxury interior design product is essential.

Salary is negotiable based on experience and in the range of £38,000 - £40,000. The company is a medium sized business of around 30 staff. The job role is offered on a Monday to Friday basis with some requirements to work weekends for industry special events such as Decorex and Clerkenwell Design Week.
