Designer / Sales Consultant

A Designer / Sales Consultant is required for a fitted furniture showroom in Guildford, Surrey. The company design and supply a range of high-end, fitted furniture for bedrooms and home studies/offices. This is a new and exciting opportunity to come on board and work in the new Guildford showroom.

The position is very much sales based and will require you to present the collections and design services to clients. You will be working with clients to understand their interior design requirements and use the in-house design system to create the perfect fitted furniture designs. The role will be based from the showroom but there will also be a requirement to meet customers in their homes to measure up and provide an on-site design consultation.

This position suits someone who is very passionate about design / interior design and who possesses experience of selling interior design products - either furniture, fabrics, lighting, flooring etc

The showroom opens 6 days a week inclusive of Saturdays but closed on Sundays. The Designer will work 5 days per week and will be required to work on Saturdays with Sundays and one other day off a week. Showroom hours 9am - 6pm.

Salary is based on experience level. On top of the basic salary will also be a commission which would add on around £4000 - £5000 in the first year.
